They are self-proclaimed social bookmarking sites, and are constantly updated with the pages that people are looking at the most. You can find all sorts of interesting news articles and features linked from those places.

Ultimately, the web sites you visit will depend on your own personality. While there are certain sites that are more popular than others, you will still go through a process of discovering sites that you personally are comfortable with and enjoy the most.
